Relaxed running

Although jogging or running is known to be beneficial to health and can prevent conditions such as osteoporosis, depression, obesity and neurodegenerative diseases, many people avoid jogging. People who have tried jogging may have been quickly put off by the unofficial minimum distance to be achieved. Running 5 km regularly is a long way to go if you have never run before. We don't know exactly where the assumption that you have to run at least 5 km comes from. Running as practiced in the barefoot school depends on the individual's level, even when running in a group. It may be that we only really run 1.5 km, perhaps even longer. We should always avoid overexertion in order to create a hunger for the next time. You should stop when it's at its best; and that's exactly what we do when we run according to the barefoot school system. We like to run barefoot, but not by necessity. Barefoot shoes or even normal running shoes are just as suitable for running slowly, mindfully and free from thoughts of performance.
We focus our attention strongly inwards and then outwards to our environment. We may even take a question that is on our mind with us when we run. If you would like to get to know running as a mindful movement, then this course is just right for you.

Please note:

The Health Week courses can primarily be booked online. If there are any remaining places available shortly before the start of the courses, we will also be happy to sell tickets at the ticket offices in the tourist information offices. The courses can only be booked "as a whole", i.e. (with the exception of morning meditation and morning QiGong as well as sound therapy) are bundled weekly packages. You can only buy one ticket here, which is valid for all days.
If you take part in the health week, participation in the early morning courses is free of charge for you. You can also attend the lectures and the closing event free of charge.

The Juister Health Week

A whole week for you! During the Health Week, you can look forward to a whole week of rest, relaxation and, above all, time for yourself. Dedicate yourself to your health on your favorite island, here on Juist.
The system is basically like this: There are morning and afternoon courses from Monday to Friday. You sign up for at least one course, but you can also sign up for one course in the morning and one in the afternoon. This then lasts five days. As a supporting program during the health week, you can look forward to various lectures and concerts.
