Tourist Information in the Coastal Museum in the Loog
Use your visit to the Coastal Museum to pay your guest fee and find out about current events. Here you will find themed souvenir items such as books about the island's history and special nature. The house of the coastal museum also has a multi-purpose room with lending books and magazines. In addition, interesting short lectures and readings take place here.

The renovation and redesign of the Coastal Museum is expected to last until summer 2022. The Tourist Information Centre will also be closed during this time.

Die Tourist-Information im Inselmuseum (ehemals Küstenmuseum) liegt im Ortsteil Loog am Loogster Pad 29. Den Ortsteil Loog finden Sie, wenn Sie die Billstraße westwärts fahren. An der ersten Kreuzung im Loog beim Loogster Huus biegen Sie links ab in die Störtebeker-Straße. Dann biegen Sie nach ca. 10 Metern rechts in den Loogster Pad ab. Nach ca. 100 Metern finden Sie auf der rechten Seite das Inselmuseum (früher Küstenmuseum).
Accessibility
The tourist information office in the island museum is located in the Loog district at Loogster Pad 29. You will find the Loog district if you drive west along Billstraße. At the first crossroads in Loog at Loogster Huus, turn left into Störtebeker-Straße. Then turn right into Loogster Pad after approx. 10 meters. After approx. 100 meters you will find the Coastal Museum on the right-hand side. You can use the tourist information office in the island museum with a wheelchair.
