Otto Leege Path Gate
The Otto-Leege gate is about 6.50 metres high and just as wide. It was made in traditional carpentry from Douglas fir trees that had grown in the shape of an arch and were found to fit exactly after a long search. The construction and assembly without right angles posed a great challenge to Himmelmann's carpenters, which they met with a unique masterpiece of craftsmanship. A short distance from the Otto Leege Gate is a small shelter with information boards about Otto Leege and his work.

Fahren oder gehen Sie aus dem Ort in Richtung Flughafem. Kurz nach dem Ortsuasgang bei der Neigung gehen Sie direkt bei dem Haus links in den Weg hinein. Nach ca. 250 Metern erreichen Sie den Goldfischteich mit dem Otto-Leege Tor.

Drive or walk out of the village in the direction of the airport. Shortly after leaving the village at the incline, turn left into the path directly by the house. After approx. 250 meters you will reach the goldfish pond with the Otto-Leege gate. With a little effort, the Otto-Leege gate is accessible by wheelchair,
