You will find a bicycle car park behind the airfield on the far eastern side of the island. This is where you start your journey along the Kalfamer info trail. Fantastic views and exciting insights await you. The nature discovery trail is marked with wooden steles and leads past beautiful views, dunes and informative signs about the flora and fauna of the island. Of course, there are also beautiful places to take a break. As you walk along the info trail at Kalfamer, you will pass the information hut where you can find out everything you need to know about migratory birds. The path leads you in a semi-circle past dunes and through valleys to the beach. The path is accessible all year round. In the wet seasons, it is advisable to pack waterproof shoes. The trail explicitly does not pass through the areas of the calf farm that are closed as breeding grounds for birds in summer.
