Marked with a brass plate, you will find the marker of the 7th degree of longitude on the dyke between the harbour and the beginning of the Juist airfield road. The 7th degree of longitude has been marked a total of three times on Juist: once on the sea bridge, once on the beach promenade near the Velero restaurant and once here on the dyke from the harbour towards the airfield. The dyke is accessible without steps, but not at ground level. Access to the dyke is possible via steps along the dyke. The dyke is accessible via ramps at the Hafenscharte and Billstraße. The path over the dyke is uneven and narrow.
