The children's university "Sustainable living" on Juist
The children's university "Sustainable Living" has a long tradition on Juist. And why is the children's university on Töwerland so important to us? It's quite simple:
Juist is a climate island. Juist is sustainable. But above all, Juist is aware of its responsibility towards our planet.
We want to keep Töwerland as beautiful as it is. But this involves more than just picking up beach litter and disposing of it properly. To really and truly act sustainably, we have to change the way we live and think. And that starts with your children!
Don't worry, we're not going to come around the corner with the eco-bat, no, we want to make the youngest Juist fans experience what sustainability is in a playful, gentle, fun and yet honest and open way as part of the children's university "Sustainable living" . And that their input is so important! The Juist Children's University "Sustainable Living" always takes place in summer and is free of charge for all participants as part of the guest contribution.
From June to August, an event usually takes place approximately once a week as part of the "Sustainable Living" children's university. This can be an interactive lecture on the topic of beach waste or a hands-on activity where instruments are made together from garbage. However, all the children's university activities have one thing in common: they are all about sustainability. The youngsters should understand what this means and how they can set a good example themselves. Of course, there is no shortage of fun and entertainment either!
