Guest choir project for Good Friday on Juist
The Protestant church on Juist cordially invites you to sing in the guest choir on Good Friday.
The programme includes the Markus Passion by island cantor Stephan Reiß, which will be performed in an ecumenical Good Friday service at 15:00.
Previous singing or choral experience is helpful - but not necessary. You have the option of downloading the sheet music and practice files from the Juister Kirchenmusik website (https://kirchenmusik-juist.wir-e.de/aktuelles) and preparing the pieces in this way.
Rehearsal I:
Wednesday (27 March 2024) 16.00 - 18.30 pm in the Terrassensaal, Wilhelmstraße 39
Rehearsal II:
Thursday (28.03. 2024) 10.30 am - 1.00 pm in the Catholic Church
Rehearsal:
Catholic Friday (29.03. 2024) 14.00 pm in the Catholic Church
Performance:
Carp Friday (29 March 2024) 3.00 pm in the Catholic Church
Please note: Participation in BOTH rehearsals is a prerequisite for participation in the entire project!
