On the beach promenade, you will find a beautiful viewing platform with disabled access at the Strandstraße beach access point. From there you can finally enjoy the beach and the sunset again.
Because the dunes between the beach and the town are fortunately growing, the sea may not be visible from some points on the platform itself.

Die Aussichtsplattform Mitte finden Sie an der Strandpromenade. Gehen Sie die Strandstraße hoch und biegen Sie vor dem Strand links (westlich) auf die Strandpromenade ab. Bereits nach wenigen sehen Sie die Aussichtsplattform Mitte auf der rechten Seite.
Accessibility
You will find the central viewing platform on the beach promenade. Walk up Strandstraße and turn left (west) onto the beach promenade before the beach. After just a few meters you will see the viewing platform on the right-hand side.
To reach the viewing platform, you have to climb a slight incline. Otherwise, the viewing platform is easy to reach and use with a wheelchair.
