The most beautiful views

Panorama: "Panoramic view; view from an elevated point in the round, across the landscape", as the dictionary defines it. Or as we say on Juist: "everywhere", because the view here on the island is great almost everywhere. We have summarised the most beautiful views for you in a tour.
The best way to start your dream tour is with the most beautiful view of the harbour you could wish for. From the East dike you'll get a panorama that's really something! Especially when a ferry is just arriving and slowly approaching the sea mark, you are presented with a truly majestic picture.
Speaking of the sea mark - your path leads you along the harbour via the pier to the sea mark with its viewing platform. Either you look into the seemingly endless expanse of the Wadden Sea (which is not so endless, after all, the mainland is only 7 km away as the crow flies) or you look at the village. Either way, the view from the sea marker is quite something.
Your next stop is the view next to the Haus des Kurgastes. From here you can look out over the village. And not only that. Of course, there are plenty of benches on site for a short break in between. So sit down and enjoy the fantastic view. It's also not a bad idea to climb onto the balcony of the Haus des Kurgastes and enjoy the view from this slightly elevated position.
The Wilhelmshöhe is no exception! If you look around here, you will easily find yourself in a magical land, because the dune landscape is very special. Look back towards the village or in the direction of Kalfamer if you prefer pure nature.
A little further back towards the village, the next dream view awaits you. The lookout platform on the beach promenade gives you a view of the beach in all its glory. Watch the walkers, enjoy the wind in your hair and really slow down.
Make your way to the Hammersee - preferably via the beach, because that way you can also take in the panorama: Sand and sea as far as the eye can see. You can enjoy the view of the Hammersee from many places, but our favourite is the Dree Water Utkiek, from where you can see the Wadden Sea, the Hammersee and the North Sea in comfort. Three-in-one, so to speak.
Clearly, there are numerous other views on the island that you should have seen, but this is the list of panoramas on Juist that you should definitely not miss. Feel free to let us know if and what we have forgotten: onlinemarketing@juist.de.
